Global childhood obesity rates now 10 times higher than in 1975

A child dies on a playground in Calgary = teeter totters are banned.

A child dies while riding a bicycle without a helmet = helmets are now law.

A child dies while swimming without a life vest = life vests are now law.

Canada was ranked 44th for obesity among boys and 67th for girls. Overall, 9.9 per cent of Canadian girls are obese, as are 14.7 per cent of boys.

It will soon be illegal to buy chips at the convenience store … that >IS< the solution, isn’t it?
